Yong Shen — The useful element that helps the chart breathe

After judging Day Master strength and seasonal weather, many readers ask which element would most help the chart function. That element is yong shen. It is selected by method, not discovered by wish.

One school may choose an element that supports a weak Day Master; another may choose one that restrains an overly strong center; a third may prioritize chart flow or structure. Disagreement is normal.

Yong shen is therefore an interpretive proposal about regulation, not a cosmic command about what you must wear, eat, or marry.
